More glorious and chaotic than any caribbean location, Thailand's islands and beaches host some of the most beautiful greenery I have ever laid my eyes on. Carrying over 90% humidity daily and boasting some powerful uv rays, it's easy to see why this land carries lush rainforest and mountainous islands you can only trek like Indiana Jones.
Many spots have elephant trekking, safaris and ziplines... But of course the most wondrous activity to do here is DIVING! In spite of the tsunami damage to reefs, wildlife has bounced back and Thailand still has the best hot spots for diving in the world.
Just make sure to budget for it, as dives start at around 3500 baht (about 115$) for a 2 tank dive.
